New Details Given On Disappearance Of Geneva Atkins, 83

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office released additional details in an effort to help the public recognize the GMC Sierra pickup truck driven by Geneva Atkins. Mrs. Atkins was last seen on Tuesday at approximately 9 p.m. driving a gray 1999 GMC Sierra with damage to the right front fender.

The vehicle is registered in Tennessee and the license plate is 158-JSP. The 1999 GMC Sierra is an SLT model with an extended cab. It has a dent in the right front fender with a matching grey bed cover. It has running boards, chrome wheels, no spare tire, and a small dent in the back of the cab next to the third brake light.

The vehicle and Ms. Atkins were last seen in the 5700 block of Highway 58.The HCSO has notified law enforcement agencies in the Tri-State area of Mrs. Atkins’ missing status and search efforts continue.

Officials said, "The HCSO has taken all internal law enforcement measures possible as our patrol and investigations divisions continue to help locate Mrs. Adkins.If you or anyone you know have any information as to Geneva’s whereabouts, please contact the HCSO at 423-622-0022 or your local law enforcement agency."

Mrs. Atkins is an African American,  5’ 2” tall, 135 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She is a severe diabetic and suffers from dementia.
