Board Certified Ob-Gyn E. Maria Bowers, D.O., Joins Beacon Health Alliance

Board certified obstetrician-gynecologist E. Maria Bowers, D.O., has joined the Chattanooga-based Beacon Health Alliance, the region’s largest practice with all female doctors providing for the healthcare needs of women in the Chattanooga area.

Dr. Bowers is now accepting patients at Beacon OB-GYN Women's East Pavilion, 1751 Gunbarrel Road, Suite 100, in Chattanooga’s East Brainerd area.

She brings 16 years of local obstetrics and gynecological practice and affiliations with Parkridge East, CHI Memorial, Erlanger and Erlanger East hospitals to OB-GYN Women's East Pavilion.

“I am pleased to join the dedicated all female physician team at Beacon OB-GYN Women's East Pavilion.
It’s a privilege to serve the needs of our patients and to help them live healthy lives,” said Dr. Bowers.

Dr. Bowers is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of Hamilton County Medical Society, American Medical Association and American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Bowers is a graduate of University of Health Sciences at Kansas City, Mo., and received her undergraduate degree from University of Colorado at Boulder, Co. She completed a three-year internship and residency at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City in 2003. She was a member of the Gold Key Honor Society at the University of Colorado.
