Gilbert Charles Rausch, 93, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, April 18, 2019, in a local hospital.
A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Mr. Rausch was retired from Sequoyah Nuclear Plant. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the DAV, VFW and the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby J. Rausch; step-daughter, JoAnn Campbell and step-son, James W. Bullard, Sr.; sisters, Margaret Dobkins and Doris Kalk.
Survivors are his grandchildren, Deborah (Tommy) Hodge, Harrison, Kathy (Paul) Blevins, Georgetown, Henry (Butch) Campbell, Jr., East Ridge, Michael (Rhonda) Campbell, Collegedale, Lisa (Mark) Payton, James (Sherry) Bullard Jr., and Eric Bullard; daughter-in-law, Gail Bullard, all of Chattanooga.
Services will be held on Tuesday, April 23, at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
