2-Year Old Hit On John Ross Road On Thursday Morning

East Ridge Police responded on Thursday at 10:08 a.m., to a pedestrian struck at 1210 John Ross Road.

A two-year old is believed to have been chasing a dog into the road.

The vehicle braked after seeing the child, but still struck her. The child's mother then called for her and she ran back into her yard.

The child was transported to TC Thompson Children’s hospital for treatment of apparent minor injuries, and was awake and talking.

There are no charges at this time.
