Sarah Elizabeth Jones, 84, formerly of Chattanooga, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 8, 2019 in Toledo, Ohio.
Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, David Jones, Sr., one son, James Jones, both of Toledo Ohio; parents, William “Jim” Knowles and Parlee Knowles; sister, Dorothy Knowles; brother, Thomas Knowles Sr. of Chattanooga.
She is survived by her two sisters, Patricia Knowles (John) Tumblin and Juanita Knowles Howard of Chattanooga; and several nieces, nephews, great-grandnieces and nephews, and great-great-grandnieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 20, wake at 11 a.m. with a funeral service following at noon at The Indianan Missionary Baptist Church, 640 Indiana Ave. with John E. Roberts as pastor. Interment will be in Historic Worldlawn Cemetery.
