Man Sexually Assaults Victim Outside Parkridge East Hospital

On Tuesday East Ridge Police responded to Parkridge East Hospital due to a reported sexual battery.

Officers were told by the victim that a man, described as a 57-year old African American with white hair on the sides of his head and wearing blue pants and jacket, had made unwanted verbal sexual advances while outside the hospital building. It was further reported that the man had groped the victim after the victim had walked away from the initial encounter.

The East Ridge Police Department is working with hospital officials to gain more information in this case.

Anyone with information about this incident is requested to contact the East Ridge Police Department.

Sexual Battery is a class E felony as defined by Tennessee State law.
