Woman Identified In Fatal Car Crash Wednesday On Cummings Highway

A woman died from injuries sustained in a single car crash that occurred Wednesday, about 7:40 p.m. at 1995 Cummings Hwy. 

Police said Charlene Murray, 64, was traveling south on Cummings Highway and left the roadway to the right striking a ditch and embankment.

Hamilton County EMS responded to the scene and transported Ms. Murray to a local hospital. 

Police were notified at 10:30 p.m. that Ms. Murray had died at the hospital and was being transported to the Hamilton County Medical Examiners Office to determine the cause of death.

The CPD Traffic Unit was notified and will continue the investigation.
