June McDowell
June Elizabeth McDowell, 82 of East Ridge, passed away on March 31, 2019.
She was devoted wife and mother. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting. June was vice president of AAA Answering Service.
June was preceded in death by her husband, Larry McDowell; parents, Harvey and Mary Wingo; and a brother.
Left behind to cherish June’s memory are her daughter, Kelly McDowell and a son, Dean McDowell; several cousins, nieces, and a nephew.
A Celebration of June’s Life will be held graveside on Thursday, April 4, at 12 p.m. in the Lakewood South Memory gardens in Rossville with Reverend Wayland Stewart officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions in June’s memory be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.
Arrangements are under the care of Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist East Chapel, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, Tn. 37412.
