Robby Robinson
James Edward “Robby” Robinson, 87, of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away on April 20, 2019.
Jim was a faithful and active member of Bayside Baptist Church and was in the Joy Sunday School Class. He retired from DuPont after working for 25 years. Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, photography, wood-working, watching the Braves and the UT Vols.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Gamble Robinson.
He is survived by his children, Debbie (Lewis) Robinson Frick, Michael (Kathy) Robinson and Judith (Terry) Massey; grandchildren, Candice (Claytor) Thompson, Henry Frick, Brandon (Holly) Robinson, Margie (Chris) Clemmer, Bryce Massey, Kirill Massey and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Dr, Chattanooga, TN 37416 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Hospice Care Center staff for their loving and compassionate care.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24, from 1-3 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel with the service following at 3 p.m. with Reverend Larry Frick officiating. Interment will be held at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are held by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
