Bobbie Swiger
Bobbie Diane Gibson Swiger, of Cleveland passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019, with her family surrounding her.
She was the daughter of the late Dovie Pinson. She was also proceeded in death by her brothers: Charles McDowell, Jeff McDowell and Robert Gibson; and great-grandson, Weston Pressley.
She was a graduate of Bradley Central High School and Cleveland State Community College nursing program. She served as an RN for 35years at Bradley Memorial and Tennova Healthcare- Cleveland. She was a member of South Cleveland Church of God.
Survivors include husband, Steven Swiger; daughters: Wendy (Harold) Eaton and Rebecca (Steven) Pressley; brothers: Kendall McDowell, Wayne (Judy) Gibson, Lee (Kathy) Gibson and Steve (Debra) Gibson; sister-in-law, Shirley Gibson; grandchildren: Lacey (Krespon) Workman, Erika Pressley, Mitchell (Mariah) Ellis, Timothy Pressley, Thomas Pressley, Michael Eaton, Jeremy Pressley and Jacob (Bryann) Pressley; great-grandchildren: Kynslee Workman, and Lexi Workman, Callie Jarrett, Zakiyah Reed, Rhett Eaton, Beau Eaton, Hayden Pressley, Madlynn Pressley and Beau Pressley; friend who was like sister, Jeri Smith; sisters-in-law: Gwen Swiger and Melissa (Richmond) Flowers; brothers-in-law: Harold (Rhonda) Swiger and Kenneth (Becky) Swiger; special nephew, Anthony McDowell; and many nephews, nieces and other family members.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Wednesday April 24, at South Cleveland Church of God.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. at the church with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Pastor Chris Moody and Pastor Edwin Lipsey will be officiating.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Mitchell Ellis, Michael Eaton, Timothy Pressley, Thomas Pressley, Krespon Workman and nephew Anthony McDowell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to South Cleveland Church of God Building Fund.
