Cleveland State Baseball Falls To Chattanooga State, 15-5

Baseball suffered a 15-5 loss at Chattanooga State in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday.


2B Andrew Carpenter and 1B Marcial Hernandez batted back-to-back and had four of the Cougars’ seven total hits in the game.

Pitchers Bradley Hayes, Matt Voda, and Brock Browning also combined for 3.1 innings of shutout baseball after Cleveland State gave up five runs in the early innings.


The Cougars will look to get back on track on Friday and Saturday as they conclude their regular season at Dyersburg State. Friday’s first pitch is set for 2:00 ET.
