Charles A. Roddy, 74, of Rossville, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019. He was a member of Parkway Baptist Church. Charles retired from Combustion Engineering after many years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney and Mary Nance Roddy and sister, Edna J. Roddy.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Linda Nash Roddy; children, Thomas (Rhonda) Roddy, Paul (Stephanie) Roddy and Teresa (Ken) Brown; sisters, Barbara Young and Gail Roddy; brother, Wayne (Diane) Roddy; grandchildren, Joshua (Kelsey) Roddy, Jacob (Kristen) Brown and Jessica (Brandon) Beavers; great-granddaughter, Hannah Beavers; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at noon, Saturday, April 27 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel, with Dr. David Sampson and Pastor Greg Nash officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakgrove Cemetery at 3 p.m. in Rockwood. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday and prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
