Jeffery Swallows
A resident of the Bucks Pocket community reported on Thursday at 7:11 a.m. that someone had entered his vehicle and stolen tools and equipment that were valued at over $2,500.
The BCSO Patrol Division responded immediately and shortly after arrival notified detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division.
Video evidence was collected and the subsequent investigation led to the identification of a suspect within hours of the burglary occurring.
With the assistance of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect, Jeffery Mackenzie Swallows of Old Fort, Tn., was successfully apprehended at 4:31 p.m. and booked into the Bradley County Jail, charged with auto burglary and theft over $2,500.
