James Charles “J.C.” Fisher, 93, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019, at his residence.

He was the son of the late Charles and Pearl Fisher and was preceded in death by his sister, Emma and granddaughter, Jessica.

J.C. was a retired Chattanooga firefighter and later worked several years as a demolition contractor. In his younger days, he loved spending time golfing and fishing. He was a veteran of WWII, having served his country in the Navy. He was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church.

Survivors include his loving wife, K. Juanita Fisher, three children, Theresa Fisher, James C. Fisher, Jr., Darlene (Jimmy) Rawn, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 9:30 a.m. on Monday, April 29, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Sloan officiating. Military rites being conducted at the cemetery.
