Carl Zender
Carl B. Zender, Sr., 88, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Germany. Mr. Zender had worked for various security companies as a security guard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Zender.
Survivors include his children, Linda Allen; Kevin Zender, Carl Zender, Jr., Tommy Zender, James Zender, Mary Gibson, Julie Pentegraph and Ivan Zender; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mr. Zender was one of 12 siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, at Duncan Park Baptist Church, 1617 Glowmont Drive, East Ridge, Tn. 37412.
The family will receive friends from 3:30–4 p.m. on Saturday at the church. Private burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
