Moon Pie General Store Has New Owners After 15 Years

The Moon Pie General Store, 429 Broad St., which has been in business for 15 years, has new owners and a new product to sell.

 

Naked River Brewing has created Moon Pie Stout, a chocolate desert style beer that will be sold for carryout only.

 

A beer permit was given to Erik Connard on behalf of the owners by the City Beer Board on Thursday. It will allow the business to sell the namesake beer.
