Paul Simulus, 31, Killed In Accident On Gunbarrel Road Early Saturday Morning

Paul Simulus, 31, was killed in an accident early Saturday morning on Gunbarrel Road.

At approximately 1:53 a.m., a single vehicle traffic crash occurred in the area of 2500 Gunbarrel Road. The CPD Traffic/DUI Unit responded to the scene.

A Chevy Colorado driven by Mr. Simulus was traveling Northbound on 2500 Gunbarrel Road when it crossed the center line and left the roadway before crashing into a tree.

Hamilton County EMS responded and pronounced the driver deceased on scene.

Survivors include his wife, Jaime Simulis, daughters, Brooklynn and Stacy, parents, Jerome and Laurie Simulis and siblings, Phillip, Joshua, Sarah Long and Timothy.  

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, at McDonald Road Seventh-day Adventist Church, 5440 McDonald Road, McDonald, Tn. 37353 with Pastor Fred Fuller officiating.

Interment will follow at Collegedale Memorial Park.
