Jewell Harper
Jewell Harper, 84, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019.
A native of Soddy, she has been a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she was a member of the Shelter Church and was retired from Walmart.
She was the daughter of the late William and Martha Hineman and was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter L. Harper; step-children, Glen Harper, Robin Harper, Steve Harper and Kathy Touchstone; brother, Larry Hineman; sisters, Fay Aslinger and Janice Hinton
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda (Doug) Rodgers, Columbus, GA and Sherrie (Paul) Hudgins, Apison; grandchildren Collin (Stephanie) Rodgers, Erin Rodgers, Miranda Smedley; Megan Hudgins and Trey Hudgins; great-grandson Josiah Best; Stepchildren, Roy Harper, Teresa Kelley, Connie Rowland, Kelly Davenport, Danny Harper, Elaine Harper, Joe Harper and Trevor Harper; siblings, Carolyn (Howard) Winters, Mona (Brian) Charlesworth, Louise (William) Roberts, Stanley (Sandra) Hineman, David (Pat) Hineman, Thomas (Darlene) Hineman and Rhonda Sharp; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, in the Valley View Chapel with the Reverend Sterling Jetton and Darrell Winters officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens
