Signal Centers will host the Signal Centers Accessible Technology Summit at UTC’s University Center, 642 East 5th St. in Chattanooga, in participation with the eighth annual Global Accessibility Awareness Day, on May 16. This one-day conference will include lunch, four breakout sessions, a keynote presentation from the internationally renowned Haben Girma (Harvard Law School’s first DeafBlind graduate) and a closing reception.

Tickets may be purchased ahead of time for $35 by visiting SignalCenters.org/events. "Here, you will also find access to a schedule of events for the summit and the online registration form," officials said. "Your paid ticket gives you full access to lunch, the breakout sessions, a chance to mingle with vendors in the accessibility and assistive technology industry, the keynote presentation and the closing reception."
Tickets will be available at the door for $45.
