Kernea, Melinda "Mindy" Dawn

Melinda (Mindy) Dawn Kernea, 45, of Chattanooga, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019.  She was a 1994 graduate of Ridgeland High School.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Richard Lee Kernea.

Mindy is survived by her loving mother, Connie Kernea; sister, Alison Kernea; brothers, Rick (Wendy) Kernea and Cameron Grimsley; grandmother, Flora Lee Kernea; nephew, Trey Kernea; nieces, Meghan and Caitlyn Kernea; aunt, Donna Grimsley; and uncles, Harold and Jimmy Whitlow.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p. m. on Tuesday, May 14 at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10 a.m.-noon at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.
