Wanda Skelton
Wanda Skelton
Wanda S. Skelton, 63, of LaFayette, Georgia, entered into rest on May 10, 2019.

She was the last of eight siblings. Wanda was a rebel at heart, always up for an adventure. She was outgoing, funny, and most of all loving. No matter where she was family was never far from her mind. There were no strangers in her life, and like the rest of her sisters was always giving and lit up a room when she walked in.

She joined her mother, Virgie M. Oswalt; brothers,  Luther N. Oswalt, William B. Oswalt,  William T. Oswalt; and sisters, Mary M. Riddell, Edith M. Parker, Nellie M. King, and Frances L. Martin in heaven. Gone too soon but will never be forgotten. We love you Woawoa!

She is survived by her sons, William R. Melton (Shansta) and John E. Melton (Anne); nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the LaFayette Recreation Department  on Saturday, May 18, at 7 p.m.

Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
