Catherine Cook Brown, 89, died on Friday, May 10, 2019.

 

A lifelong resident of South Pittsburg, Tn., Catherine was a graduate of South Pittsburg High School and Peabody College in Nashville. She was a lifetime member of Christ Church Episcopal and was active in many clubs and societies throughout South Pittsburg. Catherine was also active in the Huguenot Society of America.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Price Brown, Sr., as well as her son, Kenneth Price “Kent” Brown, Jr.; grandson, Albert Wesley Brown; and her beloved dog, Wilbert.

 

Survivors include her sons, Albert Cook “Bert” Brown and William N. “Bill” Brown; grandson, William Fraser Brown; and a host of friends.

 

A memorial service was conducted at Christ Church Episcopal, South Pittsburg, on Tuesday, May 14, at 2 p.m., CT, with Reverend Kim Hobby officiating. Interment was in Cumberland View Cemetery.
