Police say Ronald Steven Blackwell fired shots at his girlfriend's sons and one of their girlfriends.

The incident happened on May 14 at the Arby's parking lot at Northgate.

Blackwell, 42, of 907 Gillespie Road, is charged with three counts of attempted first-degree murder, three counts of reckless endangerment and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

The brothers said they had a run-in with their mother earlier in the day and that the argument had become physical.

They said they afterward went to Arby's to drop off the girlfriend, who works there.

The brothers said Blackwell showed up. He got out of his car and confronted them about the incident with their mother.

They said he told them, "B----, I'm going to kill y'all."

He then walked around his black Lincoln Navigator SUV and pulled out a handgun.

They said he fired at each one of the three individually, but none were injured.

Blackwell then drove from the scene, holding the gun out the window as he did, it was stated.

Police said the shooting was not caught on video, but it does show the Blackwell vehicle leaving.
