Kirtus LeRoy Thompson passed away on May 18, 2019. He was 27, born on May 1, 1992. 

He was devoted to his family, friends and his work at Two Men and a Truck of Chattanooga, where he had been promoted to a fleet manager. He was not the kind of person to call in sick. 

Kirtus is survived by the Thompson family, including his mother, Tiffany Sawyer and her husband, H.K., his sister, Ashley Sutton and her husband, Billy, nephews, Landon and Benjamin, grandparents, Dick and Joan Thompson, aunt, Shellie Thompson, cousins, Cody, Taylor, Mattie, Aunt Brandee Gill and her husband, Beto, cousins, Mercedes and Logan, and his uncle, Marc Thompson and his wife, Sharon, and his cousins, Caleb and Garrett. 

A memorial service honoring Kirtus will be held at the Chattanooga Funeral Home, East Brainerd Chapel, on Friday, May 24, at 6 p.m. with Pastor Coby Goins officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. prior to the service.
