"National Public Works Week, Monday, May 19, through Friday, May 25, is a special week out of the year where we celebrate our Team’s accomplishments, give back to our community through multiple service projects, and engage in some friendly competition," officials said.
"This week also serves as a tool to energize and educate the public on the important role public works plays in their daily lives: planning, building, managing and operating in our community to improve everyday quality of life."
