Billy Darrell Carter, 61, of Cleveland, departed this life on Friday evening, May 24, 2019, at the Hospice of Chattanooga Care Center.
Born in Kentucky on May 9, 1958, to the late Billy and Zelma Carter, he spent the last 25 years in Bradley and McMinn Counties.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Carter; and brother, Keith Trobaugh.
Survivors include his children, Billy (Melissa) Carter of Englewood, Kyler Carter of Niota, and Cassie (Chuck) Belisle of Cleveland; grandchildren, Jacob Carter, Jordan Carter, Riley Harper, and Gavin Harper; brothers, Billy and Rick Putnam; and other extended family and friends.
A gathering of friends and family to celebrate his life will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, at the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home.
