Dorothy Maupin Shellabarger, 98, died on May 26, 2019, at Manor House Assisted Living.
She was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Ida Mae Maupin; husband, Richard D. Shellabarger; sisters, Della Mae Pride, Mary Jane Standifer; brother, H.T. Maupin, Jr.; nephews, Michael Standifer, Robert Maupin and John Mark Maupin.
She is survived by niece, Jo Terry Evans of Cleveland; nephews, Douglas and Kenneth Standifer of Cookeville and Jack (Deborah) Standifer of Birmingham, Donald (Diane) Shellabarger of Newnan, Ga., Paul (Jackie) Shellabarger of Ringgold, and Philip (Denise) Shellabarger of Chickamauga.
A memorial service officiated by Phil Shellabarger will be held on Sunday, June 2, at 2 p.m. at Joy Baptist Tabernacle Church where she was a faithful member. Interment will be held on Wednesday, June 5, at 11 a.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
