Chattanooga Residents Travel To Cincinnati For Graduation Program

Two Chattanooga area residents earned their degrees from WGU Tennessee, and traveled to Cincinnati, Oh. to receive their diplomas at the university’s spring commencement. 

Lauren Bell, earned a master’s degree in management and leadership, and Donna Taylor earned a master’s in business administration, healthcare management.
 
WGU Tennessee is an online, nonprofit university formed through a partnership between the state of Tennessee and nationally recognized Western Governors University.

Graduates are welcome to attend any of the WGU commencements held around the country.
 
“Being part of WGU Tennessee’s commencement and watching graduates like these two accept their degrees in Cincinnati is a special experience for all of WGU Tennessee’s staff, students and families,” said Dr. Kimberly K. Estep, chancellor of WGU Tennessee. “Our students are extremely motivated – often juggling school, work and family life throughout their time with WGU Tennessee. This is a pivotal moment for our students, and we are proud to have the chance to celebrate their accomplishments.”
