Cody Brooks
Cody Price Brooks, 29, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019.
He was a 2008 graduate and athlete of Lookout Valley High School. He was employed by Clean Harbours.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents; Papaw Price Merritt, Grandma Effie Merritt, Granddaddy W. Alvin Pell, and grandmothers, Mary Pell and Nana Dean Brooks.
He loved and adored his daughter, Brantley Brooks and son, Halan Brooks. The love and adoration was mutual. He was also loved and will be incredibly missed by Mom and Dad, Connie and Kenny Brooks; sister Chandler Brooks; brother Nathan, sister-in-law Christel and nephew Cooper Brooks; Papa Harley Brooks; Grandmommie Patricia DeLashmitt; Grandaddy Glenn DeLashmitt; and his many aunts, uncles, friends and cousins that will forever love and miss his quiet, sharp humor and his sweet good-bye hugs.
A Celebration of Cody's life will be on Saturday, June 1, at 12:30 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home East.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 31, from 4-8 p.m at the funeral home. A short graveside memorial will be held in the Lakewood Memorial Gardens West where he will be laid to rest.
