Frances Annette Pressley, 71, of Decatur went home to be with the Lord Monday, June 10, 2019.
She was born March 22, 1948 in Athens, Tn. to the late Fred Willard Overstreet and the late Ruth Ann Willis Overstreet. She was of the Baptist faith. Annette loved all animals, especially horses, fishing and riding around sight seeing.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Freddy Clark, and a grandson, James William Clark.
Survivors include her husband, James Pressley, of Decatur; son, Scotty Clark, of Decatur; daughter, Teresa (Lee) Whitener, of Etowah; sisters, Effaleda Lee, of Niota and Jean (Ray) Harris, of Athens; grandchildren, Nathan Whitener and Megan Stiles; great-grandchildren, Casen and Huntson Stiles, and Laiklee Whitener; uncle, Tiny (Glafrey) Willis, of Athens; aunt, Juanita Powers, of Niota; niece, Kim (Corey) Schiestel; and great-nieces, Kayla Harris and Jayden Schiestel.
A graveside service was held at Mtn. View Memorial Gardens Wednesday, June 12, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Chad Hunt officiating.
