Traveling Art Show Takes A Look At Early Childhood Needs In Chattanooga
Tuesday, June 11, 2019
The City of Chattanooga’s Office of Early Learning and Chattanooga Basics have partnered together to showcase needs of early childhood providers and parents of young children in Chattanooga through a photography series.
"The exhibit, PhotoVoice, allows participants to photograph, interpret and present images that represent their community’s needs and solutions, in response to research questions," officials said. "The purpose of this research study is to tap into the voice of the community to understand the challenges and opportunities experienced by early childhood providers and parents of young children in Chattanooga.
The exhibit features powerful images, themes, as well as information that should be of interest to anyone invested in making Chattanooga a great place to raise children."
The exhibit is located in the second floor of the Chattanooga Public Library Downtown Branch until Friday, July 12. The PhotoVoice exhibit is sponsored by The City of Chattanooga, BlueCross Blue Shield of Tennessee Community Trust and The United Way of Greater Chattanooga.
