A man was shot while riding his bike on 10th Avenue early Wednesday morning.
Chattanooga Police were called to a local hospital at approximately 6:23 a.m. Wednesday to speak with a man, 34, who had a gunshot wound.
The man told officers he had been shot in the area of 4400 10th Avenue. He said he had been riding his bicycle and had stopped near an intersection when a man approached him and shot him. The man said he called a friend to take him to the hospital.
Officers called for the CPD Violent Crimes Bureau to respond. Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 698-2525 or submit a tip via the CPD Mobile App. Tips can remain anonymous.
