Budget Round Table Discussion With Children's Cabinet Will Be Monday

A budget round table discussion, hosted by County Mayor Jim Coppinger and Superintendent Dr. Bryan Johnson, will be held with members of the Children’s Cabinet on Monday. 

Roundtable panelists will include Sheriff Jim Hammond; Judge Robert Philyaw, Juvenile Court judge; Don Mueller, Children’s Hospital at Erlanger; Dave Buck, Chattanooga Autism Center; County Mayor Jim Coppinger; Superintendent Dr. Bryan Johnson; and moderator, Tom Griscom, strategic communications planner and graduate of local public schools.   

The event will be held at the Children’s Kennedy Outpatient Center at Children’s Hospital at Erlanger, 900 East 3rd St. in the Pierce Conference Room. It will run from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

The panel will discuss how the proposed budget addresses issues affecting children in the community.  Panelists will present a view through the lens of their daily contact with children and their families. 

The Children’s Cabinet brings together government agencies and child-serving community organizations with the goal of connecting every student in Hamilton County with what a child needs to thrive, said officials.
