Retired From TVA After 38 Years; Loved Traveling And Square-Dancing

Charles W. Loney, 91, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019.

Charles was a member of Tyner United Methodist Church, and retired from TVA after 38 years. After retirement, he and his wife enjoyed traveling and square dancing. In his free time, he loved working around the house and in the yard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Delia Loney; and sister, Imogene Ricciardone.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Dorothy Loney; sons, Barth Loney, Benjamin Loney; grandchildren, Matt Loney, Teddy Loney, Kristen Rudd, Kyle Loney; and nine great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 17, in the funeral home chapel. A private family burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
