Marchie Mae Joyner, 93, of Evensville, passed away at her home on Friday morning, June 14, 2019, in Evensville.

She was born in Haynesville, La., on March 31, 1926, the daughter of the late Don and Mattie Wilson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Ernest Joyner.

Marchie had been a resident of Evensville since 2010. Prior to moving to Evensville, Marchie was a longtime resident of Gary, IN where she was a member of the 20th Century Missionary Baptist Church. While living in Gary she was employed by the Revere Camera Company, then owned and operated a small clothing boutique and finally as a cook with her church. She enjoyed flowers and fishing.

Graveside funeral services for Marchie will be held Saturday, June 15, at 6 p.m. at Rhea Memory Gardens.
