Susan Hildreth
A Chattanooga woman has been sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty in connection with a Fentanyl overdose death of a Harrison man.
Susan Rebecca Hildreth, 38, appeared before Criminal Court Judge Barry Steelman.
She had been facing charges of second-degree murder and unlawful sale of Fentanyl.
She pleaded guilty to facilitation of second-degree murder.
She had prior charges of having drugs for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia and having contraband in jail.
Ms. Hildreth pleaded guilty in December 2015 to meth charges and was given a suspended sentence.
Authorities said the Dec. 1, 2016, death of Kevin Boyd Heltenburg was caused by use of Fentanyl he obtained from Ms. Hildreth.
Mr. Heltenburg was 28. He was a local brick mason.
Ms. Hildreth was taken into custody outside East Ridge City Hall by the Hamilton County Narcotics and Special Operations Division, along with the Hamilton County Fugitive FAST Team.
The death of the victim occurred at his home on Cooley Road. He was found with a lethal dose of Fentanyl in his system.
At the time of her arrest, Ms. Hildreth was found with two grams of heroin along with drug paraphernalia.
