Angela Roberts Whaley
Angela Roberts Whaley, age 77, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Juanita and Joseph Daniels; father, Travis Roberts; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lucius and Grace Whaley; and grandparents, Winfield and Pearl Drennon.
She was a member of Deep Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed interior decorating, sewing and floral arranging. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Alvin Whaley; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cyndi and Gary Hefner and September and Mark Truelove, all of Dalton; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wendell and Rachel Whaley of Dalton, James Whaley of Memphis and Sandra and Sid Derrick of Dalton; grandchildren, Amber and Justin Rishel, Mattie and Robby Chase, Aaron and Jessica Truelove and Casey and Richard Adams; great-grandchildren, Mason Rishel, Colt Ridley, Emma and Sawyer Chase, Rosalee and Lillian Truelove; nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 20, at 4 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Spann officiating.
Burial will be in Dawn Rest Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at funeral home on Thursday, June 20, from 2 p.m. until the service time at 4 p.m.
