A consultants report says the Hamilton County Schools have $1.36 billion in facilities upgrade needs. That does not include costs associated with adding capacity or account for cost saving associated with closing schools, the report by MGT Consulting Group says. Signal Mountain Council Finalizes Tax Rise Of Over 20%; Cheryl Graham Takes Spalding Seat

The Signal Mountain Council voted to increase property taxes by 20.434 percent on second and final reading on Monday night.
