Storm Destroys Home In Falling Water Thursday Morning Trapping 6 Adults, 3 Children Inside

Strong storms rolled through Hamilton County Thursday morning destroying a mobile home in the Falling Water area.

At 8:15 a.m., the residents made a 911 call reporting a tree had fallen on their mobile home and they were trapped inside.

Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department responded to 728 Roberts Mills Road and reported a large tree on top of the mobile home.

Firefighters worked to rescue six adults and three children. No injuries were reported, but Hamilton County EMS was on the scene throughout the rescue efforts.

Dallas Bay Fire Chief Markus Fritts, reported the house was a total loss and valued at $60,000. The American Red Cross will be helping the family with their immediate needs.
