A mobile home was destroyed by fire early Thursday morning.

A Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputy called 911 to report the fire. At 4:30 a.m., the Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department responded to the fire at 8811 Highway 58.

The first fire unit that responded reported a fully-involved fire. Since the home was abandoned, firefighters conducted a defensive attack to contain the fire.

No injuries were reported, but Hamilton County EMS was on the scene for any potential injuries to fire personnel.

The cause of the fire is undetermined and will be under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. Highway 58 fire officials reported the mobile home is a total loss and damages are $30,000.
