An employee at CVS on Highway 153 said a black female had been inside the business and shoplifted multiple bottles of Tide detergent. The suspect loaded $250 worth of the merchandise in a buggy and pushed it past all points of sale without payment. She then left in a Mercury van.

A woman who stayed at Home Away Extended Stay at Northpoint Boulevard said sometime overnight her passenger side back door window was smashed and a black cloth bag was stolen. The bag contained two watches and two gold rings. She did not know of any identifying marks on the jewelry, but the bag "had a bible verse written on it (Olympians 4:13)."

Jordan Parker told an officer on Gunbarrel Road that a suspicious vehicle had been following him all morning. He pointed to a white Ford SUV sitting across the street. Police went and spoke with Robert Bonnett, who was in the vehicle Mr. Parker pointed to. Mr. Bonnett stated he was a private investigator and showed police his credentials. Mr. Bonnett stated he was not following Mr. Parker. Police determined Mr. Bonnett was not committing any crimes and notified Mr. Parker of the facts.

Lori Kempff told police that she was over at the residence of her friend, Duane Harris, on S. Germantown. The two got into an argument. Lori told police that Duane called her a "b---h a-- hoe," and so she hit him with her cell phone. After this, Duane apparently kicked her car. Lori stated that there was no damage to her vehicle. After thinking about it for a minute, Lori decided to just let the whole situation go and not pursue anything further. Police never made contact with Duane, and he never called in.

At the Quality Inn on Shallowford Road, police spoke with a woman who said someone had obtained her personal information and stolen $461 on the cashapp, $166 on paypal, and used $60 to make a reservation at Quality Inn over the website Priceline. Staff at Quality Inn said someone by the name of Ciana Howard came into the hotel the previous night and claimed the reservation and stayed in room 213. They stated they may have camera footage of the suspect.

A woman who lives on Milne Street said she returned home from work and was looking for the TV remote. She asked a man who stays at her residence named "Ralph" if he had any idea where the remote might be. She said "Ralph" became angry and started yelling. She said "Ralph" was under the impression that she thought he stole the remote.

A man police identified as Guy Devin was at the Burlington store at Northgate Mall. Police said he was observed entering the clothing department and selecting a belt from the sales floor. Mr. Devin then put the belt on around his waist and continued out of the store showing no intent to purchase the merchandise. Mr. Devin was stopped in the parking lot by police and admitted to stealing the belt ($10). Police retrieved the belt from Mr. Devin's waist and handed it over to Burlington management. Burlington declined prosecution, but stated Mr. Devin was banned from all Burlington properties for exactly one year from this date. Mr. Devin was with his girlfriend, Emily Johnson, at the time of the theft but she was not around him and did not know he was stealing. However, Ms. Johnson "did not appear to be moved or struck by her boyfriend's deceptive behavior and in fact gave him a loving hug after he was released."
