Thomas Hensley
Thomas David Hensley, 71, of Chattanooga, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 19, 2019.
He was born on March 19, 1948 in Chattanooga to the late T.C. and Kathryne Hensley.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael David Hensley and his granddaughter, Brittany Lee Hensley-Bailey.
He was active in his church, Lupton Drive Baptist where he served as usher and was the treasurer of the Sanctuary Sunday School Class. He was an avid NASCAR fan with his favorite being Dale Earnhardt.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Renee Hensley; children, Ginger Lee Hensley, and Tiffaney Raye Carney; one grandchild, Hunter James Hensley; siblings, John Hensley, Sherry Williams, and Frankie Nance; several nieces and nephews; and his loving church family.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor Dustin Taylor officiating. Entombment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday.
