Alford, Charlotte Ann (Ringgold)

Charlotte Ann Alford, 70, of Ringgold, passed away after a lengthy illness, Tuesday, June 18, 2019. She lived in Baltimore MD for over forty years where she worked as a carpenter apprentice building bridges. 

She was also a member of the American Legion and was of the Baptist faith. 

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Nina (Manning) Alford; brother, Stephen Alford; and nephew, Joshua Dobbins. 

Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Treena and Tim Dobbins; aunt, Margie; and nieces, nephews and various cousins. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on June 21 in the chapel of Wilson Funeral Home, with Pastor Denny Manning officiating. Private burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 20 at the funeral home.
