The Granfalloon will be celebrating a new colorful wall mural by Brent Sanders and a new seating area in their London double decker bus with an outdoor event called the Colour Invasion, on Saturday, June 29, beginning at 6 p.m.
There is no admission fee for this event, featuring family-friendly entertainment in the Granfalloon parking lot from 6-10 p.m., including color powder battles, a water slide, art vendors, fish and chips, crepes, face painting, and a rooftop DJ playing British invasion music. Artist Brent Sanders will assist with a ribbon-cutting for the new mural and bus at 7 p.m.
Then from 10 p.m.-1 a.m., the party will include bonfires and smores, a neon-glow dance party and performances by DJ Que Rico featuring A.D.A.M. and Foxchild. Admission to this indoor show is also free.
The Granfalloon is at 400 East Main St. in Chattanooga’s Southside district.
