Review for Man of LaMancha:
The classic musical and play-within-a-play is based on the story of Don Quixote. Cervantes, is seeking a way to save the manuscript, so he proposes his defense in the form of a play. The “court” agrees to his proposal, so Cervantes and his manservant put on make-up and costumes, transforming themselves into Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. They then proceed to play out the story with the prisoners taking the roles of other characters. The pair takes to the road in a comical adventure to restore the age of chivalry, battle all evil, and right all wrongs.
