Lana McDonald, 59, of Ooltewah died Tuesday, June 25.

A resident of Ooltewah since 1990, she was employed with McKee Foods and was a Gold Star Mother.

She was preceded in death by her son, Private 1st Class Travis Haslip who was killed by enemy forces in Iraq in 2007.   Her father, Claire Braman also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Denis McDonald;  daughter, Rachel (Chris) Kimball, two grandchildren, Rene & Stephanie, all of Cleveland TN;  mother, Lucille Furman, Ooltewah; sister, Sue (Steve) Luttman, Cleveland, TN;  brother, Burton (Pam) Braman, DeBary, FL;  parents-in-law, Danny & Carol McDonald, Collegedale, TN; sister-in-law, Janene Dunston, Seattle, WA; brother-in-law, Tom (Deanna) McDonald, Cleveland, TN.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 29, at 7 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Jerry Arnold officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Collegedale Community Seventh Day Adventist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 627, Collegedale, TN 37315.
