Rogers, Bunn And Ballard Tabbed For Enterprise Leadership Roles At Covenant Transport

Three young leaders at transportation enterprise Covenant Transport Services are taking on new roles and responsibilities..

Ryan Rogers, chief transformation officer at Covenant Transport Services; Paul Bunn, former chief accounting officer at Covenant Transport Services; and Joey Ballard, former senior director of talent acquisition at Landair Holdings, have each been promoted to new enterprise-wide roles. 

Mr. Rogers, in addition to chief transformation officer, has been named executive vice president over the enterprise’s wholly-owned brokerage subsidiary, Chattanooga-based Covenant Solutions. Mr. Rogers has been in his current role of chief transformation officer at Covenant since Jan. 2018. Prior to coming to Covenant, Mr. Rogers served as a transportation executive at Amazon, and earlier in his career, Mr. Rogers also led a successful brokerage unit at Chattanooga-based U.S. Xpress. 

Mr. Bunn, formerly chief accounting officer at Covenant Transport Services since 2009, has been named chief administrative officer and executive vice president for the enterprise. Mr. Bunn will specialize in leading the way for all companies in the areas of people, processes, projects and procurement. 

Ms. Ballard, formerly senior director of talent acquisition at Landair Holdings, has been named senior vice president of human resources and driver recruiting for all of Covenant Transport Services. Since Covenant Transport Services’ acquisition of Landair in July 2018, Ms. Ballard has  led the way integrating people and sharing human resources and recruiting assets and practices, and she is tasked in her new role with ensuring a true people-first culture across all companies.
