Bethalea Sherrill, 81, of Harrison, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.

A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Annie Sims Braddam.  She was also the wife of the late William Cummings Sherrill.

She loved collecting dolls and sewing in her spare time.

Survivors include her son, Randy (Lila) Sherrill and her daughter, Cecilia (Frank) Loscalzo; two sisters, Louise Shelton and Junie Spangler and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, July 12, in the Church of God of Prophecy at 7118 Sims Road in Harrison with Sister Martha Massengale officiating.

Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.

The body will lie in state at the church from 11 a.m. on Friday until the time of service.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
