Dr. David Champion and Dr. Brian K. Schenck, both Hixson dentists, received the prestigious Tennessee Dental Association Fellowship Award during the recent 152nd annual meeting of the TDA in Franklin.
The Fellowship Award is presented to no more than 12 Tennessee dentists each year who make noteworthy contributions of their time and talent toward professional progress and the public they serve.
Dr. Champion graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Tennessee Technological University, before obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and doing residency with the United States Air Force at Scott AFB in Illinois. Dr. Champion has been practicing general dentistry for 27 years. Dr. Champion and his wife, Patty, have three children and reside in Hixson.
Dr. Schenck graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from University of North Carolina, before obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. Dr. Schenck has been practicing Oral and Maxillofacial surgery for 15 years. Dr. Schenck and his wife, Yvette, have two children and reside in Hixson.
