Wednesday, July 10, 2019
East Brainerd Oral Surgery, a provider of oral and maxillofacial surgery, has opened a new location, Hixson Implant and Oral Surgery, 4513 Hixson Pike, Suite 101 in Hixson, to make access easier for patients who live in the Hixson, Soddy Daisy, Red Bank and Dayton areas.

“We are excited about the opportunity to serve our patients in a state-of-the-art setting that is more conveniently located for those who live north of the river,” says Jenny Brown, practice manager of East Brainerd Oral Surgery.
“We are different from other oral surgery practices because of our emphasis on the latest technologies and our relentless focus on patient comfort and care, helping them have the best possible experience.”

Hixson Implant and Oral Surgery and East Brainerd Oral Surgery offer a wide range of services including wisdom teeth extraction, dental implants, bone grafting, pre-prosthetic surgery, oral pathology and advanced surgical care for facial trauma. The staff are trained in the latest techniques and technologies – like IV sedation and outpatient IV general anesthesia.

In addition to the new location in Hixson, the practice is also adding Dr. Brandon Stanley, DMD to their team.  Dr. Stanley joins Bill Childress, DDS, MD, Karl L. Meyer, DDS, MD, and Ricky Johnson, DDS, MD. All four oral surgeons are United States Air Force veterans who together have more than 100 years combined experience in dentistry and oral surgery.

“We rely on a combination of our skills, expertise and the latest technology to give our patients the highest quality oral surgical care they deserve,” says Dr. Bill Childress. “This new location is evidence of our commitment to the community, and we are excited to be on the forefront of innovative modern dentistry.”

"East Brainerd Oral Surgery and Hixson Implant and Oral Surgery offer a unique approach to dental care with the most advanced maxillofacial surgical capabilities available today," officials said.  "This includes panoramic X-ray, state-of-the art implant systems for bone reconstruction and to replace missing teeth, and cone beam CT, a revolutionary imaging system that creates 3D images of patients’ dental structures, soft tissue, nerves and bone – all in a single scan."

“Our priority has always been our patients and their wellbeing. As we constantly strive to provide the highest level of oral and maxillofacial surgical care, we’ve made an investment in advance technologies that lead to the very best outcomes,” says Dr. Stanley. “This new location is one more way we can provide the expert care our patients expect while helping them improve their confidence and achieve beautiful smiles.”
